Flaming Penguin Records Compilation C.D. Release Party
Venue: Mezz (Breda)

Hey you punkrocklovers out there! It's been too long but we took a little time off to work on new songs and now we are ready to rock your socks off (speaking of socks what's that smell?).
Anyway sunday the 25th of january we set sail to go to Breda to play in a brandnew venue called the Mezz.
It was the releaseparty of the compilation cd of FLAMING PENGUIN RECORDS. We contributed one song to it (‘A Telephone Ring…’) and so we were invited to play at the release party together with Cooper, Sellfish, Jynx and Sic.
The show started at 3 'o clock but we got there round 16.30. So unfortunately we didn't see Jynx and Sic perform. When we arrived Sellfish just kicked off their show and as always they rocked hard. Really nice new songs and also the classics sounded great. After that it was our time to give "acte de presence" to a small but cozy crowd. We had a pretty solid and tight sound and we had lots of fun on stage. I'm not sure everybody got the jokes we made but then again we sometimes have a strange kind of humor that not many people seem to understand. We played lots of new songs including the two songs we recorded around Christmas. "The Real Thing" and "Fear & Doubt" rocked like never before and I think the crowd liked them. They responded really well. Like I said before we played a good set in my opinion and I was proud to play on that release party for such a nice compilation. Lots of cool bands. I want to thank Bas of Flaming Penguin Records for making such a huge effort to the dutch punkscene.
After we finished it was time for Cooper to entertain the kids. This was the second time we played with them and I must say that I really like this band. They had a pretty powerful sound with the three of them with lots of nice harmony singing. I was especially impressed by their drummer, Bertus, who sang a lot while playing very tight on his drumkit. Hope we do a lot more shows with them cuz besides the point that they are a great band they are also very nice guys to hang with. After the show we got some really nice food and drank way too much beer. Well except for Frank cuz it was his turn to drive the van home and Evil of course cuz he thinks he’s Bob even though he hasn’t got a drivers license.

Frank and me have planned a little trip to Austria to improve our boardfeeling on the slopes of Fiss. But when we get back we play on the 29th of februari in the Bazart in Den Haag so see ya there.
